Two Championship Courses...
Warmed by the Southern California sun and cooled by ocean breezes, River Ridge offers championship courses with country club quality at public prices.

Originally designed by Billy Bell Jr. in the mid-1980s, the Vineyard Course has gone through several redesigns providing ocean and panoramic views of Ventura County. The course is renowned for its wide-open fairways, low lying roughs, superb bent/poa annua greens and five lakes spanning the back nine holes. It is highlighted by the par-three 18th "Island" hole measuring from 122 yards to 191 yards and usually playing into the wind.
The Victoria Lakes course opened August 22nd, 2008 and provides a great test of golf. The greens are pure bent grass and the fairways are Greg Norman (GNI) hybrid bermuda. Like the Vineyard course, Victoria Lakes harbors eight acres of water. You will especially enjoy our version of Amen Corner when you encounter holes 12, 13, and 14.
One of the unique features River Ridge offers is exceptional pace of play. River Ridge has an outstanding pace of play team and enforces the pace of play policy. In 2007 the average playtime on the Vineyard Course was 4 hours 18 minutes. Seventy-seven percent of play finished in less than 41/2 hours, and over 98% finished in less than 5 hours.
In addition to 36 championship holes, River Ridge has complete practice facilities including an all-grass driving range, practice putting and chipping greens and a learning center staffed by PGA professionals. The clubhouse offers complete dining and banquet facilities and hosts an average of 38 weddings a year. Perhaps best of all, you'll find a warm and friendly staff that offers country club quality at public prices.
We strive to make everyone happy golfers!!
